Fruits of our labours

Walked out the other night to check on my broccoli and new young peas after a pretty good wind storm.  If you enlarge this picture, you will see that the petals from a near by fruit tree (Nectarine) blew off and cover the grow box.  I thought it looked kinda cool and pretty.

Got my tomatoes growing in 'Walls of Water" and they are about to come out the top.  Got 4 more weeks till the average last frost could happen.   I love the spring time.

PS- After already digging out 4 other tree stumps, It was easier just to build my grow box around this one.  I think I'll put a flower pot on top of it.  (That was the plan all along----right!!!)

I have a greater appreciation for the early settler who cleared the land by hand.

Even had the neighbors son come down to help dig.  He resume stated that he was a "Great Digger Man"

This is what 2 days of  hard #@^&* digging will get you.   Success!!   Anyone need a stump?
